Changyou Preps “Dahua Shuihu” New Year CB
Sohu’s (Nasdaq:SOHU) online game subsidiary Changyou (Nasdaq:CYOU) plans to start closed beta testing of its licensed Q-style turn-based 2D MMORPG Dahua Shuihu on January 5, the company announced December 28. The testing version will feature new tasks, a DIY home function, a shape-shifting system and a handwritten graffiti play mode crop-picking “wars”, as well as offering gift packages, according to the report.
The game entered alpha testing on December 1. Guangzhou-based online game company Firestone, Dahua Shuihu’s developer, had previously licensed the game to Kingsoft (3888.HK) under the name Hero 108.
