Shanda’s “AION” Trawls for New Gamers
Shanda (Nasdaq:SNDA) plans to extend a promotion for its western fantasy MMORPG AION from the end of January until February 23, according to an announcement on the game’s official site on February 8. The promotion offers users who invite friends to the game a maximum of RMB 75 in their accounts; for every prepayment of RMB 10 made by a newly invited gamer, the inviter will be rewarded with RMB 8 yuan in his account, the report says.
Shanda released a new version, “Long Zhi Ying” (“The Dragon’s Shadow”), of AION in Shandong server farms on November 30.
