Shanda: OB “Chuan Shi Qun Ying Zhuan” On March 16
Shanda’s (Nasdaq:SNDA) gaming division Shanda Games (Nasdaq:GAME) plans to start open beta testing of its in-house developed 2D MMORPG Chuan Shi Qun Ying Zhuan on March 16, according to a February 24 posting on the game’s official site. Shanda will add a real-time strategy (RTS) mode to the game in the testing version, according to the report. Chuan Shi Qun Ying Zhuan entered the latest round of closed beta testing on January 22.
Shanda reported that its in-house developed online music game Super Star has more than 6 million registered users of by the end of February 2010, Sina reported. Shanda started open beta testing of “Tiantian Xiangshang,” the second chapter of Super Star, on August 20 last year.
Shanda also announced February 25 it will start unlimited closed beta testing for its strategic webgame “War & Peace.”
