Sohu’s (Nasdaq:SOHU) online gaming subsidiary Changyou.com (Nasdaq:CYOU) announced March 19 that it plans to start open beta testing of “Tian Long Ba Bu 2,” an expansion pack for its in-house developed 2.5D martial arts MMORPG Tian Long Ba Bu, on April 2, 17173.com reported March 18. The expansion will include new dungeons, personal micro-blogging systems, a trading platform, a naming system, and ten new martial arts factions, the report said.
The company announced earlier this month it planned to starting testing TLBB2 in April.

Changyou is currently developing the expansion in-house, the report said.

Changyou attributed the 33% year-on-year increase in its 2009 total revenues primarily to the rising popularity of TLBB. Changyou released a new version of TLBB on January 22.
